We had an amazing time shooting Riffraff‘s Third Birthday earlier this month. It took no more than 10 minutes into the night before the space was completely occupied wall to wall with their most loyal costumers. It’s apparent that these ladies know how to throw one hell of a party. Three years deserves a BIG congratulations!
I was recently asked to do a poster design for Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week. After trying out several ideas on paper, the result was somewhat of a mixed media poster utilizing a minimalist 60′s op art inspired aesthetic.
The NWAFW crew is working crazy hard for this. You’re not going to want to miss it! To purchase tickets to the 2012 event visit http://nwafw.com. Proceeds will be donated to local charities.

This year I decided to put my curiosity to work. Equipped with minimal gear, I’m conducting a series of visual experiments using a DSLR. This is Experiment One and was shot on a roof in the Upper East Side in NYC.

We recently teamed up with our friends over at CORDIAL Rx to create a Facebook app for the launch of Gnarly Head Wine’s new tasty Zinfandel-led blend, Authentic Red. From the same director who brought us Helvetica and Objectified, Gary Hustwit’s concludes a three part design trilogy “which looks at the issues and strategies behind urban design and features some of the world’s foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders, and thinkers.” He calls it, Urbanized.
Who is allowed to shape our cities, and how do they do it? Unlike many other fields of design, cities aren’t created by any one specialist or expert. There are many contributors to urban change, including ordinary citizens who can have a great impact improving the cities in which they live. By exploring a diverse range of urban design projects around the world, Urbanizedframes a global discussion on the future of cities. –urbanizedfilm.com
Urbanized is now showing in select major cities. Visit the official website for more details.
